Easy, Healthy Dog Treats for your Furry Babies!

J & I always try to buy the healthy/organic/all natural dog treats and as every dog owner knows, this can sometimes get expensive! That being said, I found an amazing dog treat recipe that allowed me to make the pups the healthiest treats that they love, and it only cost me about $2 because I already had the flour! It made 67 small bone shaped dog treats and Missy and Romeo LOVED them! I used 365 Organic 100% Whole Wheat Flour and two 4 oz. jars of Earth's Best Organic Sweet Potato and Chicken flavored baby food. You can do pretty much any flavor of baby food as long as it doesn't have any onion/onion powder or other dog toxic ingredients. I store them in our little dog treat jar from the Container Store that keeps them fresh. Have a great weekend, its almost here!

Best Phone Cases ever! ;)

I don't know if a lot of you are like me, but I tend to drop my phone more than the average person due to doing way too many things at one time. That being said, especially with pregnancy clumsiness combined, I have started to think I have got way too lucky that I have never broke my phone and with a new baby boy on the way, I need to baby proof my phone from myself as well as Jaxon stat. Let me introduce you to the remedy: Otterbox cases! My Husband and I both have one that my amazing Mother got us for Valentine's Day. His is camo and mine is pink and white, fitting. :)  They're super easy to get on, come with a built-in screen protector and are soft/"grippy" on the outside and hard on the inside. You will not regret the decision to get this case. Trust me ;)

Sally Hansen Salon Effects!

Recently, my friend Nicole who knows my love of all things girly and cute, gave me the recommendation to try Sally Hansen Salon Effects after she tried them out. Like most people, I have seen them in the stores for months but was skeptical because I didn't' see how they could possibly last for 10 days like they claim and be so easy and cute. If they worked so well, what would the need to paint my nails ever again be? ;) lol But after getting a recommendation from a friend who had tried them instead of just a magazine, etc. I went to the story and picked up the cheetah print ones. After having J carefully read the directions to me step by step (they were so easy) I had a set of nails that looked flawless! I put top coat on mine just because I like the extra shine, but you don't even have to. 5 days later they're still looking as good as the day I put them on and I'm sold :) Thanks for the rec Cole! ;)

Jamba Juice's "Secret Menu"

I didn't think it was possible for things like finding the Jamba Juice Secret Menu could make my entire day until I became pregnant, but honestly, even if I wasn't, I think it still would. For all of my smoothie loving Friends, it's that exciting :) If you like "I know the smoothies on the secret menu at jamba juice" on Facebook, under Info it has the link to the website with all of their secret menu items and the recipes in case whoever is working at your local Jamba Juice doesn't know a particular one off the top of your head. So far I have tried the "Pink Star,"/tastes exactly like a pink Starburst, "Purple Dinosaur"/tastes like Purple Nerd Candy and the "Butterfinger"/self explanatory and amazing! All three have healthy ingredients, especially when I added the free protein boost, and taste exactly like they claim! I have officially had 4 smoothies this week. lol Enjoy!

Jamba Juice's Secret Menu

Sodastream!

Since I have been pregnant, I have had some difficulty finding "fun" things besides water to drink. You're not supposed to have a lot of sugar or fake sugar during your pregnancy, so I needed some natural options that would give me the carbonation I was craving in my drinks. My Mom's amazing solution/Valentine's Day present-The Sodastream! This thing is amazing! If you like Perrier or carbonated flavored water of any kind, stop buying drinks individually or by the case and just buy one of these for $100 or so from Costco and it will be the best investment you've made in awhile! I just bought the "natural flavors pack" from Target that comes in a set of three, Lemon-Lime, Orange & Raspberry and it doesn't have any sugar or fake sugar in it. My Sodastream also came with a second bottle so you can make two and put one in the fridge for later. If you're one of my girls who likes carbonated flavored drinks without all of the artificial stuff (you know who you're ;), Sodastream is your next purchase!

The Best DSLR Camera!

As my closest Friends know, I LOVE taking pictures of just about everything. I am very sentimental and want to remember every last detail of the time I spend with the people I love so anything goes with me and my camera. LOL That being said, after we got married Juston and I decided it was time to purchase a "Big Kid Camera" meaning we needed to have something besides our trusty point and shoot to capture big moments. After lots of research and recommendations from Friends we decided on the Canon Rebel T2i. Best camera decision ever! Although its pricey, we got an amazing deal on ours from Costco. They're often out of this camera buts it worth waiting for. When you buy it from Costco it addition to the Camera itself, it comes with an extra lens, a padded and big accessory bag to fit everything it comes with, a memory card and even free pictures through their website. Juston and I still don't know how to use all the features but thats kind of the beauty of it. You can charge it and use it right away and it takes amazing pictures even if you don't quite know what you're doing. If you're in the market for one, even though they have come out with newer models since then, I have a feeling this tried and true staple will be around for quite sometime!
